The Book of Psalms is the hymnal of Israel. In Hebrew it is called, Tehillim, which means "Praises." Originally meant to be sung, 55 of the 150 Psalms are addressed to "The Chief Musician." One of it's most exciting aspects is that Christ is virtually in every single Psalm, sometimes subtly, sometimes profoundly. It is a collection of poetry laced with strong theology.
