Date: 593-571 B.C. (Contains more specific dates than any other Old Testament book)
Ezekiel was deported to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar in the 2nd deportation in 597 B.C. The first seven years of his ministry he faithfully prophesied that Jerusalem would be destroyed as God's judgment for Judah's unfaithfulness. The book of Ezekiel contains some of the most incredible prophecies in the Bible, including detailed description of a Nuclear War and the cleanup afterward. Ezekiel ministered to a nation experiencing judgment for their sins, and contains some lessons for us today.
